Raymond,
"I just wanted to tell you the boys had a blast last weekend and we plan on trying to make as many sessions as we can. I played hockey in college, and that was some of the best youth instruction I have ever seen."

Hi Ray,
"It was a pleasure meeting you on Sunday. The boys had a blast. We looked at your calendar and found a spot. Can we come at 4:30 tomorrow?"

"I just spoke to a friend of mine, Ray Hemms who has worked on the figure skating side at the Cooler and also works on skating for hockey players, he said that he does have some times available on weekends. He is very good and has been working with players for many years."

Guys,
"Just a quick review regarding the training class I took last week with Ray Hemms.
You have his contact info and mine if you wish to pursue it. I give the class a thumbs up.
I realized a few things about myself. I don't follow instruction well and I don't know my left from my right. Off-ice training for me will be to learn the electric slide and have tatoos "L" and "R" put on my hands.
Like a good instructor he took me beyond my comfort level and destroyed my self confidence. Hopefully with further classes I'll build it back up. He had me perform skate edge and agility drills which will require further work and practice because I'm a spaz. The class was small so it was great getting one on one attention as he explained what I should focus on during drills and how they were applicable to hockey situations. At the end of the hour Ray gave me the take away from the day's lesson to focus on during the next game.
I did confirm one additional thing I had suspected. The $400 skates on my wish list aren't the right place for me to put my money if I wish to be a better skater."

Ray,
Both My Boys tried out for the TPH AAA prospect team and made their respective birth year teams. You should take credit for the Fire players having the best Edges out of any other program. Logan, Nate, Lucas, Eric, Noah, Cal all out skate their respective peers from other rinks. Keep up the good work!
Take Care
